Clone will not complete successfully Error Code 128

Screenshot_2020-11-24_090246 What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. During cloning a repository with Tortoise Git the error code 128 occurs (see attached File)
  2. Cloning with the GitCMD no error occurs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I want to get a done message and a cloned repository on my local drive, but Tortoise Git exits with an Error code 128 (see attached File)

What I see instead: git.exe clone --progress -v "albwai@git.hidrive.strato.com:/users/albwai/ZSW_TST041.git" "C:\Temp\01_Git\GitTest02\ZSW_TST041" Cloning into 'C:\Temp\01_Git\GitTest02\ZSW_TST041'... Server refused to set environment variables remote: Counting objects: 305, done. remote: Compressing objects: 100% (266/266), done. fatal: the remote end hung up unexpectedly fatal: early EOF fatal: index-pack failed git did not exit cleanly (exit code 128) (29672 ms @ 24.11.2020 08:47:38)

What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system? TortoiseGit 2.11.0.0 git version 2.29.2.windows.2 Screenshot_2020-11-24_090246 Windows 10 Pro Version 1909Screenshot_2020-11-24_091141
