Bizarre ordering in commit dialog?

By kipr... on August 13, 2009 09:07 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. when committing several files, after clicking the bar above the file
list, where it says Add/Del, icons appear, as if the files should be
ordered by what you have just clicked.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
However the 'ordering' is
rather strange. In fact there is no order.
I see however, that files are grouped by their parent directories, but
even among files that are in the same directory the ordering doesn't
work.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 0.8.1.0
git version 1.6.3.msysgit.0
