Merge Dialog cannot automatically select the annotated tag

By @ch3cooli on August 25, 2012 02:09 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open Log Dialog
  2. Choose a commit that has only an annotated tag, but no branch head or remote head
  3. Right click, choose merge

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Merge Dialog automatically selects the tag in combo box.
Actual: tag combo box is enabled, but no tag selected.

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.7.12

Please provide any additional information below.
If it is a lightweight tag, it works.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
