Replace "yay" with "yea" in all official contexts
I assume that when I vote I should be expressing my approval rather than how happy I am about the proposal.
yea
noun
- An affirmative vote.
Synonyms: aye, yes
By contrast:
yay
interjection
- (colloquial) An expression of happiness.
Yay! I have finally finished my work!
Synonyms: hooray
I understand that both yay
and yea
are accepted by the command line when voting, but it appears that being able to use yea
was added as an afterthought and virtually everything incorrectly uses (and suggests using) yay
, including the official documentation, binaries/CLI, and I believe even RPC/JSON responses. As a result, almost all other tools and guides built for Tezos use yay
instead of yea
when talking about or displaying voting-related matters.
