Draft: Add release notes for 2025-09.1 release

  • Announce on the Testing Farm Slack channel that you are started preparing the new release. More info.
  • Check if there is a new tmt update, and update worker to it. More info
  • Verify that each MR is merged and all Jira issues for the release are in the RELEASE_PENDING state. More info.
  • Create release branch for all changed components.
  • Create release tags for all changed components.
  • Bump worker-redhat to use the new worker-public image.
  • Build a new Red Hat worker image and push it to the registry.
  • Bump worker images in the infrastructure.
  • Create a new next release milestone in GitLab and Jira, if not created yet.
