Members Manual Style Guide
Please refer to the excellent Mailchimp Style Guide for help with:
- Grammar and mechanics
- Writing technical content
- Writing about people
- Writing for accessibility
- Writing for translation
Note: As the member manual evolves, this style guide will too. We will define voice and tone guidelines and develop more specific style requirements as needed.
Why use a style guide
No one joined Support Driven just to read the members manual. When you write members manual content that is clear, concise, and in a consistent style with other pages, you will help members access the information they need so they can do what they came here to do, participate in Support Driven!
How to use the style guide
When you create or edit content for the member manual, refer to the guides linked above for things like grammar guidelines, how to capitalize titles, and how to write about people.
When does the style guide NOT apply?
This style guide is not intended to guide how anyone writes outside of the member manual. In the Support Driven community, we want everyone to feel welcome and to bring their own voice and style to Slack, the podcasts, and our newsletter!
