  • I think the name of the keyboard layout should be named from "English (Dvorak)" to "English (United States Dvorak)".

There's no current convention for variants of keyboard layouts. This change establishes "us-dv" as that. Maybe "us-dvorak" is better, though it's longer. Ideally I'd like to just import an existing collection of keyboard layouts.

I did not review the actual keyboard layout contents carefully. I assume you have tested this very thoroughly by comparing keystroke by keystoke combination with what the equivalent Linux keyboard does.

I need you to put a permanently reachable identity in the commit details (remember to use --reset-author and git config the identity for future use), which could be at a domain you own and operate (optionally but ideally with a bit more information about how to reach you).

You'll need to rebase on the master branch.

Please make an explicit statement that you agree to license this contribution and your future Sortix work under the ISC license.

  • Ping, if you still feel like contributing this?

  • Closing due to inactivity. zgrep, please feel free to reopen if you wish to do the boilerplate stuff so I can use your work.
