Godot 4.2.1-stable: log inspector is not able to find current_scene
I'm trying to follow the tutorial on Godot 4.2.1-stable and port the code as I go, but I'm stuck on part 5. The log inspector should be able to launch the scene for debugging purposes, using the SyncReplay autoload. Unfortunately, it fails to do so because get_tree().current_scene
returns null

I've reproduced the issue on my own (public) repository here: https://gitlab.com/reinierdevries/godot-rollback-tutorial/-/tree/part-5. Make sure to enable git symlinks: (git config --global core.symlinks true
), and clone including submodules (git clone --recurse-submodules
). This is required, because the repository has a reference to the addon as a symlinked git submodule.
