LOW-916: Improve clarity of point_array docstring

I was trying to figure out how to point a station with the MCCS, but the point_array function docstring made it difficult to understand what was being done. After slowly figuring it out, I rewrote the docstring in an attempt to improve clarity.

Is the new docstring accurate and clear enough to be worth updating?
