'Save to Database' button unavailable in newly added rows at the end of the extracted table
As Frederik
I want to be able to select cells of data that were newly added below an .Stat DLM Excel Add-in table and still use the "Save to databases" buttons to save this selected new data into the SDMX database
So that I do not need to select a range including cells from the original table and unnecessarily save more data than needed.
Specifications
Steps to reproduce:
- Using the .Stat DLM Excel Add-in, create a data table
- Add a new row at the end of the data table
- Select the new row or the value cell in the new row in order to save that new data to the SDMX database --> the buttons to "Save to Database" of "Selected data" or "Entire table" are not available, but should be
Remark:
If the active cell is part of the source table then the 'Save to database' buttons are available in the toolbar menu.
And if you click on the "Entire table" as Save to database buttons, the new row is also saved in the database.
Example
Using table in QA "TEST_REMOVE_DATA_POINT": Source table from row 1 to 4 (Yellow area). The "Save to Database" buttons are available (Green area) when any cell within the original table is selected:
After adding a new row at the end of the source table and the active cell is one of the new added cells, then the "Save to Database" buttons are not available:
The new row is currently taken into account only if a cell within the original table is selected and the "Entire table" is being saved (see image) or if cells inside the original table and in the new row(s) are selected and the "Selected data" is being saved:

Using the.STAT DLM Excel Add, data are extracted from .STAT (see red highlight)
In this current extraction, a row is added in the end with data for Year 2021 and Specification SL16 (see green highlight)
