- The guide has not been updated in years, and does not contain a
    meaningful amount of content.  I believe that the examples in the
    API documentation are better.

  - Further, it uses a license not goodlisted in our deny.toml.  I
    don't know how  to goodlist the license in a way that doesn't
    goodlist it for our dependencies as well.

  - Remove the guide.
