light() makes graphics very unstable: java.lang.NullPointerException

BUG DESCRIPTION:

As soon as a light() is defined, the figure becomes very unstable. Here is a short list of bad features observed:
- docking / undocking changes completely the figure (erases it or makes it completely black)
- sometimes the rotation is blocked. Then, most often clf does nothing. However, it is possible to close the figure.
- etc
In the consolebox, many "java.lang.NullPointerException" messages are listed
