Problems with the unit test description
Created by: petterreinholdtsen
Hi. I tried to follow the instructions for writing a unit test for a minetest mod I hope to upload into Debian, but the explanation in https://rubenwardy.com/minetest_modding_book/en/quality/unit_testing.html seem to have some shortcomings.
The code I want to test, the pycraft mod, uses several minetest and global functions, and it is unclear to me how to get such test going. Could you perhaps add an explanation in the text how to do this? The most problematic part is the use of Setting. The code I want to test is in https://github.com/sprintingkiwi/pycraft_mod, if you want to have a look.
The mocking example refer to mymod.list_areas_to_chat(), which is not defined in mymod, as far as I can tell. It further have no calls tominetest.chat_send_all(), so the mocked function is not used. Is there something missing in the example?
