Build Debian based images
Proposed Changes
- Build Debian based images
- Re-implement docker image tagging strategy
Build Debian based images
Currently, all Dockerfiles are on the root and build from Alpine based images. Create new Dockerfiles to build the same images from Debian based images.
Re-implement docker image tagging strategy
Currently docker image tagging follows the <version>-<arch>
tagging strategy.
a) Re-implement the tagging strategy to use the <version>-<linux>-<arch>
tagging strategy.
E.g.
- 3.0.51-alpine-arm64v8
- 3.0.51-debian-arm64v8
b) Make the version manifest includes only the alpine linux tags.
E.g. click on 3.0.51
-> download 3.0.51-alpine-arm64v8
c) Make a new manifest <version>-<linux>
to allow pulling the debian or the alpine linux auto-architecture detection.
E.g.
- click on
3.0.51-alpine
-> download3.0.51-alpine-arm64v8
- click on
3.0.51-debian
-> download3.0.51-debian-arm64v8
