Draft: Resolve "Job Failed #2524285947: CopyItemQuery test randomly fails"

This adjusts the way we build the unit test - the hope is that the system collects some diagnostic information.

Unfortunately, the issue cannot be reproduced locally, so this is currently our best bet.
