cifs: bring us close to 6.0

This backports all trivial patches on the road to 6.0 A small number of the patches have changes compared to upstream. These are patches that applied both to the cifs client as well as the ksmbd server, which is not in the rhel9 tree. For these patches the ksmbd part were dropped.
