Open GPS Tracker is unavailable on Google Play and F-Droid

I noticed today that the Open GPS Tracker app is not available on Google Play nor on F-Droid.
I checked here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Ren%C3%A9+de+Groot

I can tell since when this is the case but I would be interested to hear how this happened.
