modus-themes-mode-line: padded
Hi,
I don't know if this is something you may want to consider, but I've been tweaking (again!) with my mode-line recently. This is what I am doing:
(setq modus-themes-mode-line '(accented))
(defun mu-modus-themes-faces ()
(let ((active (modus-themes-color 'bg-active-accent))
(inactive (modus-themes-color 'bg-inactive)))
(modus-themes-with-colors
(custom-set-faces
`(mode-line
((,class (:height 0.9 :box ,(list :line-width 6 :color active)))))
`(mode-line-inactive
((,class (:height 0.9 :box ,(list :line-width 6 :color inactive)))))))))
(add-hook 'modus-themes-after-load-theme-hook #'mu-modus-themes-faces)
I learnt about this trick from zerodark-theme. This is how it looks:
Do you think it is worth adding a new option for modus-themes-mode-line
? Something like padded
could convey the new style, I guess. I totally understand if you prefer not to, of course and I can still rely on the great modus-themes-with-colors
and modus-themes-color
.
