`watch` eats ASCII-Bell
Executing the following python script test.py
:
#!/usr/bin/python3
print("\a")
beeps as expected.
Calling watch ./test.py
does not beep every 2 seconds as expected, and instead replaces the bell character with a ^
character.
May be related to #126 (closed), though the bell character is not a non-ASCII character.
