PRISM Break requested to merge fernandogutie:master into master

Created by: fernandogutie

In issue #1028 (closed) Darkcoin (former name of Dash) was rejected. It has been almost a year and a half and I respectfully ask for a reconsideration. There were two reasons for the rejection:

1 - Being closed source. This changed in September 2014 (https://www.dash.org/news/darkcoin-goes-open-source/). The project is now fully open source (https://github.com/dashpay/dash)

2 - Instamine. The lead developer has explained the issues surrounding launch (https://dashtalk.org/threads/the-birth-of-darkcoin.162/ ). While it is true that too many coins were mined in the first few days, it was an error and there has been so much market volume since then as to think that those coins are probably much better distributed by now. Also, the privacy feature in Dash (called Darksend) is designed in a way that makes virtually impossible to trace transactions even with a huge amount of coins, so the instamine should not be an issue for this. I can provide as much detail about the privacy features as needed.

Thanks for considering and for prism-break!
