If someone is comfortable with writing, feel free to join in and write another section (topic inspirations in #21 (closed)) (but no one has to, I'll finish it by myself otherwise).

@MartijnBraam, @craftyguy: Could one of you make a cool photo of the N900 with uname -a in a terminal, which shows that we're on mainline?

TODOs:

• table of contents (automatically generated, is that possible @yuvadm)?
• finish writing all content (except for closing words)
• insert images
  • make images float (see comments below)? they look strange right now
• more links
• change the formatting of the syntax highlighted code?
• link github issues
• link usernames decided not to. less work and not that much benefit in linking them all.
• improve source code (remove spaces at the end of lines etc!)
• "huge jump in kernel version for the n900 (2.6.x to 4.12)"
• "doom is also an important milestone"
