Optionally generate separate root and boot partitions (to make mainlining easier)

The rootfs consists of a boot and root partition. We flash that rootfs as single partition and use kpartx to probe for subpartitions. This doesn't work with all kernels close to mainline yet.

btw it would be very lovely to have pmbootstrap specific solution to have separate root and boot partition images and allowing to flash them on separate partition, it would make life much easier for mainline porting
We could implement this with something like pmbootstrap install --split-rootfs
, which simply would generate two partition files instead of the combined rootfs, and then allow pmbootstrap export
to extract the partition files.

it's cause mmc is probed after devicemapper Should be some way to redetect in userspace
