The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 (samsung-skomer) is a device using the NovaThor U8500 SoC similar to samsung-golden. Linus Walleij (the maintainer of the SoC in the mainline Linux kernel) has been working on adding mainline support for it.

I made a device package for it a while ago and asked him to test it. It uses the same linux-postmarketos-stericsson close-to-mainline kernel as samsung-golden, although all changes for samsung-skomer are actually upstream already.
