lg-hammerhead feature request: port Ubuntu Touch kernel
Describe your issue
I am trying to use Nexus5 as a dashcam device. As such postmarketOS perfectly fits the need being small and fast-booting. I was able to build and flash Nexus5 (lg-hammerhead) using edge channel and sway display manager. It fits my needs, except I can not get access to cameras. I understand that this is a known issue based on device wiki.
I am asking whether it is possible to integrate kernel built by ubuntu touch folks, as it seems to handle camera correctly.
Perhaps someone could hold my hand and help me port the kernel myself? I shall submit a patch once work is done
What's the expected behaviour?
kernel must support cameras, as in: /dev/videoX
links being available
What's the current behaviour?
/dev/videoX
links are not available, impossible to use cameras
