Set a minimum thumbnail size in rem, and not hardcoded to 6 per row

@arechnitzer please try this behaviour... It feels very dynamic but one thing I don't like this:

The last row grabs extra space... Another MR coming that "fixes" that, but the thumbnails then become a fixed size....
