Fixes on the 0.3 line, one commit each; to be merged up into maintain/0.4 and exp.

#36 (closed): uv sync gets --reinstall-package <module>, so after update the version follows the pulled commit.
#37 (closed): before the pull, a bench-written file in reports/ that the incoming commits replace is dropped when identical, else kept as <name>.bench-<time>.json (logged). The test reproduces the issue's "untracked working tree files would be overwritten" without the fix.
deps: urllib3 2.8.0, tornado 6.5.10 (six advisories that failed gate 10 on this line).
