FHIR: Map Products and Product Models to FHIR Product and Item (Identifier and Description)
User Story
As an admin I want to be able to map product catalog attributes to FHIR Product and Item attributes so that when PCMT is asked for the list of FHIR products or Items it knows how to transform that catalog data into the interoperable FHIR formats.
Background Documents
Possible Design
- An Akeneo Product Model maps to a FHIR Product
- An Akeneo Product maps to a FHIR Item
- For any Akeneo attribute, the admin can map that attribute to a given FHIR attribute
Acceptance Criteria
- Start with FHIR id, Identifier, Description
- Akeneo code or identifier attribute maps to FHIR id
- Akeneo Code - for Akeneo Product Models
- Akeneo identifier - for Akeneo Product, and there is one and only one attribute that is setup at installation that is the Akeneo identifier.
- Any attribute can map to a FHIR identifier (this is different than the FHIR id)
- Any attribute can map to a FHIR description
- further we'll simplify and and only map to the description as a value (instead of broken down parts)
- A mapping of attributes is done on the Attribute settings page, under a new tab named
FHIR
