On Windows, write() is implemented using WriteFile(). After the reader closed its end of the pipe, the first WriteFile() returns ERROR_BROKEN_PIPE (which translates to EPIPE), subsequent WriteFile()s return ERROR_NO_DATA, which is translated to EINVAL.
