Background audio auto-play misbehaviour
A song's background audio auto-plays when it should not do so, in the following scenarios:
- When in display mode Show Theme, send to live a song with background audio. The background audio auto-plays.
- When in display mode Show Black or Show Desktop, send to live a song with background audio (which, correctly, does not auto-play at this point) and then switch display mode to Show Presentation. As display mode is switched to Show Presentation, background audio begins to auto-play even if Auto-play background audio (in Settings → Configure OpenLP… → Songs) is turned off (not ticked/checked).
Meanwhile, auto-play behaviour is correct in the following scenarios:
- When in display mode Show Black or Show Desktop, send to live a song with background audio. Background audio does not auto-play.
- When in display mode Show Presentation, send to live a song with background audio. Whether or not background audio auto-plays adheres to Auto-play background audio (in Settings → Configure OpenLP… → Songs).
The above has been confirmed with OpenLP 3.0.1 on:
- Ubuntu 20.04 (
focal
) - Ubuntu 22.04 (
jammy
) - Windows 10, version 22H2
