UI: Prompt user when creating a cluster with less than 5Gb of disk space
Problem to solve
Avoid getting failed operations once running a cluster using less than 5Gb of disk space. Sometimes is hard to identify the root cause of problems like 'no space left on device' in these cases.
Proposal
Using Admin-ui:
Given that I'm creating a new cluster
And I'm using admin UI
And in the cluster creation form, I setup less than 5Gb of disk space
When submitted the cluster creation operation
Then a warning should be displayed to the user (only when the disk space is less than 5Gb)
And on this warning, a message should warn the user "Some operations may require up to a few GB of disk space to run. It's recommended to use at least 5GB of disk space"
And two options/buttons should be displayed "Cancel" or "Continue"
And the event message should warn the user "Some operations may require up to a few GB of disk space to run. It's recommended to use at least 5GB of disk space"
Using CLI:
Given that I'm creating a new cluster
And I'm using Helm or Kubectl
And in the cluster definition, I setup less than 5Gb of disk space
When submitted the cluster to create
Then an event should be generated warning the user (only when the disk space is less than 5Gb)
And the event message should warn the user "Some operations may require up to a few GB of disk space to run. It's recommended to use at least 5GB of disk space"
Acceptance Criteria
- User must be advised when creating a cluster with less than 5Gb of disk space
- The user can proceed with the operation after being advised
- The user can cancel the operation and increase the disk space
