[#218] Cleanup Indigo implementation of AbstractLedger

Description

Problem: There is some space for improvement in the source code due to fact that Indigo has changed a lot since AbstractLedger was first implemented.

Solution: Improve AbstractLedger implementation based on the improvement of ManagedLedger.
