Hotfixes for imposed breaking changes in Gnome-Shell

This merge is intended to create a taggable point that will generate a release on GitLab so that end-users can grab an updated package that will make things workable for now while awaiting MMOD Panel v13 Release.

NOTE An issue with the GitLab-CI configuration prevented the last merge from rendering a local release. This is a redo with the CI configuration now fixed.

  • ✅ Resolves issue with panel position breaking in gnome-shell version >= 43.0
  • ✅ Resolves issue with extension breaking altogether since version 42
