Translation failing on mobile

Steps to fix:

  • Translation selector defaults to user i18n language preference.

It's not a regression. The translation service sometimes fails when it can't detect what language its supposed to be translating from. We should implement a friendlier error message saying so.

  • Add an error message or alert when source language is not detected by translation service.
