Fix error handling avatar upload

Steps to test

  • Create a new user
  • Upload an avatar and while the image is uploading disconnect the device from the internet
  • The uploading indicator should disappear
  • Connect the device to the internet again
  • You should be able to upload the avatar again or continue without it
