threatripper

Project information

Threatripper is a defensive, educational tool that detects scam messages and phishing links using a heuristic scoring engine — no external APIs, no network calls, everything analysed locally. Paste an SMS, WhatsApp message, or suspicious link and get an instant risk score from LOW to CRITICAL with a plain-language explanation of every warning sign, plus an interactive quiz and awareness guides to build scam immunity. Privacy-first: history is stored locally with redacted text and hashed fingerprints only. Fully offline-capable FastAPI backend with a lightweight vanilla-JS frontend.
