Polish the docker hub page from marketing perspective
Problem to solve
(Summarize the problem we are trying to solve in the form of we need to do [A], so that [B] can [C]) Currently there is very little information on our docker page and discoverability is not easy. We should ensure this is inline with the marketing on our website
Target audience
(For whom are we doing this? Include a persona) Anyone looking to install the tool - data analyst / engineer
Further details
(Include use cases, benefits, and/or goals) The goal is to ensure we can help discoverability and provide guidance on where an interested party can get more information/ help
Proposal
(How are we going to solve the problem? Try to include the user journey) We could have something similar to GitLab CE as first pass: https://hub.docker.com/r/gitlab/gitlab-ce/ We should strive to have something similar to Mongo: https://hub.docker.com/_/mongo
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
(Define both the success metrics and acceptance criteria. Note that success metrics indicate the desired business outcomes, while acceptance criteria indicate when the solution is working correctly. If there is no way to measure success, link to an issue that will implement a way to measure this) See proposal above - we should have all available information for a user to be able to use the image and run in deployment in coordination with other tools
Regression test
(Ensure the feature doesn't cause any regressions)
-
Write adequate test cases and submit test results -
Test results should be reviewed by a person from the team
