Option to normalize URLs e.g., ignoring everything after '?' or '#'
From mark.appel on August 27, 2013 08:26:38
e.g., https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2&shva=1#inbox vs. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/ This solves the issue of the literal nature of URL to note mapping where even slight changes in a URL which result in the same page from the server's side, result in different page-notes on the client.
I would consider that this get implemented with a regex, perhaps, which would effectively normalize URLs
This regexp http.://mail.google.com/.
effectively normalizes this https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2&shva=1#inbox to http://mail.google.com/ Make sense?
