Remove runtime dependency on sass
Currently, HK relies on sass for writing styles and also imports bootstrap's sass. We however don't need to keep the sass version in the repo and ship it. Instead, it should be possible to simply ship the copiled css from the sass during the release.
The process of compiling the sass is easy and just involves a manual invocation of any sass compiler::
$ cd hyperkitty/static/hyperkitty/sass
$ sassc hyperkitty.scss hyperkitty.css
We could drop this into hyperkitty/static/hyperkitty/css/hyperkitty.css and update base.html to point to this css file instead of the sass file in the {% compress css %}
block.
We should however figure out if this compiled css should be committed to the repo or something we generate during release and include in the tarball. Removing a dependency on sass simplifies the deployment and perhaps even development for beginners, especially given that the sass compilers are often in flux and new ones keep coming.
