preference for the required domain wrongly applied to other domains
Firefox 55.0.2 on FreeBSD-CURRENT, multiprocess enabled, twenty content processes, more than six hundred tabs (nineteen loaded at the time of writing).
Earlier today
Every time I aimed to prevent caching for gitter.im
, the preference was misinterpreted as prevention for a different domain – www.groovypost.com
, from where I had one tab open elsewhere in the session.
Screenshots
Now
After setting the preference whilst browsing https://gitter.im/ipfs/ipfs
:
{"page_addons.mozilla.org":{"prevent-caching":false},"page_about:addons":{},"page_github.com":{"prevent-caching":true},"default":{"prevent-caching":false},"page_www.groovypost.com":{},"page_pastebin.com":{"prevent-caching":true}}
– weird, I made no attempt to use the extension at pastebin.com
.
An extension conflict? I wonder.
Background
If it helps to understand the issue above: my wish to prevent caching for Gitter is an attempt to workaround bugs such as:
– that one is closed but (for me) still a problem.
