Outline flux problem
Description
This merge request adds two notebooks, which outline a few problems we need to solve in order to get our model solving working nice and smoothly (or, at least, they are a necessary step, whether they're sufficient or not, I guess we'll find out).
#22 (closed) is the follow up issue for discussing how to solve this. #25 (closed) is the follow up issue to remind us to interpolate the fgen_interp1d module.
@lewisjarednz I'm interested in your thoughts on this, particularly whether the problem is clear. I know it is painful and is going to add complexity to the project, but I don't think we have any other option than to tackle these problems.
@anorton if you want to take a look, this largely follows our conversation from the other day.
@gang.tang.au this is probably worth a look as you start to think about converting your model into Fortran.
@malte.meinshausen fyi, in case you want to chime in too.
I have included a bundle of the built docs as at 74b61e79 as an attachment to this MR (flux-problem-docs-build.zip) in case you don't want to muck around building the pages yourself (unzip then just open build/html/index.html in a browser and follow your nose).
