= Pre- and Post-sequence segments - seq2vid
Templates can define extra segments before and after the segments that are provided by the user in the sequence file.
Each segment ends with the following code block
[source,bash]
----
## ========================================================
#PRE --> NEVER DELETE OR CHANGE THIS LINE!
## ========================================================
#POST --> NEVER DELETE OR CHANGE THIS LINE!
----
To add a template-specific segment, simply define the segment after the +#PRE+ or +#POST+ sections of the above block.
For example, to show your logo at the beginning of all your videos, change the block to something like this:
[source,bash]

## ========================================================
#PRE --> NEVER DELETE OR CHANGE THIS LINE!
imagefile="my_logo.png"
time_slide=1000
time_transition=3000
add_segment -image

## ========================================================
#POST --> NEVER DELETE OR CHANGE THIS LINE!
----
The above code shows the logo at the beginning of every video that is generated using this template.
The logo will be shown for 1 second, and will slowly (in 3 seconds) fade into the first segment that the _sequence_ file provides.
In exactly the same fashion, you can add segments to the _end_ of user-provided sequence file.
You only need to define your segments after the +#POST+ flag in the template file. |
