readthedocs and gitlab are full of non-scrolling sidebars
- I was trying to find information on how to install Linux Mint and configure it for my acessibility needs. The installation guide has a very wide non-scrolling sidebar: https://linuxmint-installation-guide.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
- This bug report system has a very wide one, with no visual contrast or separation from the scrolling parts: https://gitlab.com/linuxmint/documentation/installation-guide/-/issues/new
- Searching Gitlab's documentation for accessibility, 2 more non-scrolling sidebars, nowhere to report accessibility issues: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/development/fe_guide/accessibility.html#accessibility
- This support page likewise: https://about.gitlab.com/support/
For me, these hurt, and they give me motion sickness and migraines. Using Firefox 112, with reduce motion, with smooth scrolling disabled, various other animation disabled, and so on.
