Unexpected automatic replacement of markup text
Since version 2.21.5 some text in markup gets automatically replaced by special characters, no matter if in titles, footnotes or anywhere else. For example the phrase "Nr. 5" is automatically replaced by "№ 5". Is this a new (undocumented) feature? How can I disable this, when I really want "Nr. 5" to be displayed?
Using part of the markup reg tests as an example
\version "2.21.6"
\markup \line {
\center-column { \line {Nr.} \line {Nr"."} }
"+"
%quoting the entire string or full point results in no 'replacement'
\center-column { \line {""Nr.""} \line {Nr"".""}}
}
