Leads for people wanting to run ktd on Windows
Some quick notes from someone's feedback in case someone wants to play hard mode and run ktd on Windows.
- use a named volume within the Docker, the git clone will persist there and avoid permission and IO perf issues. No need for the SYNC_REPO related stuff. Warning, be careful when pruning docker to free space because you can delete your volume and your work contained in it!
- you might need Hyper-V backend for Docker, not WSL2
- for ES you still need to take care of vm.max_map_count . The following instructions are for WSL2 (the specific part is how to get a shell to the Linux env) https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42111566/elasticsearch-in-windows-docker-image-vm-max-map-count/62078093#62078093
- you might need to get rid of kohanet aliases
