Note: Similarly to other Trinamic ICs in the KiCAD library the NC pin can be connected by the Schematic developer to GND if desired to improve layout but it is not required. This pin should be left for the user to decide to connect to GND and the symbol should not enforce or prevent this choice. Hence left visible and as passive pin.
