Consider adding a sentence in "File is already open" alert box for corrupt lock files?
I recently had a file that refused to open in Eeschema which brought up the warning box, and a "File is already open" warning. This turned out to be a corrupt / misplaced lock file.
Is it worth adding a bread crumb for the user? Something along the lines of "If you are seeing this in error it may be the result of a corrupt lock file." "Lock file problems may cause this issue in error" "If you are seeing this in error, check lock files."
None of these are prefect - others can probably do better. Bringing up the name of the lock file would be helpful but also requires programming. Something simple above seems preferable for a rare problem.
Description
Steps to reproduce
- What is required to test the condition is a lock file in error. A crash creates this but maybe a force quit would also.
