Make some icon functions easier to understand
Description
The contrast between blue/grey is really low, this would be clearer: contrast_mode.zip
At first glance, the top icon seems to be via outline mode, especially because the via icon on the right toolbar () looks like it.
Also the via in the second icon is too small in a 24px icon to see much of the diagonal / outline. It would be better to use the top one for via outline mode, and redraw the pad outline mode icon to show a SMD pad. Maybe something like this: pad_outline_draft.zip
There is not much distinction between those two icons. In the curved ratnest icon, the diagonal line looks too much like a ratnest line.
It could be clearer to make an exception to the diagonal system here and just have a simple icon showing curved lines between 3 points.
Now that the launcher has text next to it, it is less important:
But still, the inversion of the text blocks is a bit weird, keeping the frames like the old icon would be much clearer. Those empty text frames of the old icon made it just so much more obvious what this is about.
