3D component models are not displayed anymore

Description

3D components models are not displayed anymore, except the PCB itself. This issue ocures as well as in the 3D view of PCBnew as in the 3D preview of the footprint editor. The last version of KiCad without this problem I am aware of is approximately 4 days old.

Steps to reproduce

1. Start KiCad
2. Open Footprint Editor
3. Select an existing component and elect 3D preview
