Preferences dialog: reduced height compared to older releases
Description
The height of the global Preferences dialog was reduced compared to older releases. For systems with low resolution or >100% desktop-scaling this can hide some settings at the bottom of the dialog.
While such lower resolution systems (or the desktop scaling) are not officially supported by the officially system requirements there would be enough screen-space available to increase the dialog-size again so that the preferences are visible also on those systems.
Steps to reproduce
- start kicad, open global Preferences dialog
- open section footprint editor-->display options
- compare with 2weeks older kicad-version
The picture below was taken on a system with 1920x1080 pixel resolution (== required minimum), but desktop-scaling set to 125%. This setting is often recommended for 14" and 15,6" laptops.
