v7.0 instability on macos intel (caused by old 3dconnexion drivers)
Description
When I do a clean install of v7 and open a new or existing files it crashes within a few clicks.
Steps to reproduce
- Opening pcbnew and eeschema causes crash.
- Opening eeschema, saving, closing, opening again causes crash.
- Also, opening a schematic takes over 10 seconds for eeschema to display
Notes
This is a clean install I deleted all plists and preference files associated with previous builds.
I rolled back to 6.0.9 (because it was the last v6 in my downloads folder) and everything worked great. No crashes, no delay on application display.
apology
I know this is an awful bug report but it just doesn't work. I suspect it is related to intel mac because IRC arm mac user says it works fine.
Please, let me know what additional data I can provide. In the mean time I will download the last v6 and try that.
